In-school vaccine clinic for St. Teresa of Avila students and staff

Event Date: Sep 12, 2021

A return to in-person learning this September for HWCDSB children and youth is a top priority. As a community we know too well the impact that COVID-19, remote learning and public health restrictions have had on the mental and emotional well-being of children and youth. As the Delta variant continues to circulate locally and we see the challenges it has caused elsewhere, particularly among the unvaccinated, we all have a job to do in protecting those that can’t be vaccinated, including children under 12.

To provide easy access to a vaccine, the HWCDSB has partnered with Hamilton Public Health Services to hold a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 10:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00 to 3:00pm. The clinic is available to eligible students (born 2009 or earlier), families and staff from St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Elementary School. First and second doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are available. Walk-ins are welcome. No appointments necessary.

Note: If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should not attend the clinic.
